May be involved in the development of central and peripheral nervous systems. Essential for the inhibitory function of regulatory T- cells (Treg) . Mediates FOXP3-mediated gene silencing in regulatory T-cells (Treg) via recruitment of corepressor CTBP1 (By similarity) .
