Anti-TRIM58 Antibody
Boster Bio Anti-TRIM58 Antibody (Catalog # A14252) . Tested in ELISA, WB applications. This antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat.
Product Specifications
Background
TRIM58 is a member of the tripartite motif-containing family of proteins that frequently possess E3 ubiquitin ligase activities (1) . TRIM58 is strongly expressed in erythroid lineage cells and is further upregulated during late erythroid maturation. Recent experiments suggest that TRIM58 facilitates erythroblast enucleation by ubiquitinating the intermediate chain of the microtubule motor dynein, thereby inducing proteolytic degradation (2) .

Function
E3 ubiquitin ligase induced during late erythropoiesis. Directly binds and ubiquitinates the intermediate chain of the microtubule motor dynein (DYNC1LI1/DYNC1LI2), stimulating the degradation of the dynein holoprotein complex. May participate in the erythroblast enucleation process through regulation of nuclear polarization.
