Anti-Coronin 7 CORO7 Antibody

Coronins, such as Coronin 7, constitute an evolutionarily conserved family of WD-repeat actin-binding proteins whose function is thought to be regulating the cytoskeleton. Unlike other cytoplasmically localized Coronins, Coronin 7 localizes in part to the Golgi complex and is thought to play a role in Golgi complex morphology and function. Other experiments indicate that Coronin 7 interacts with the anti-proliferative protein TOB1 and enhances its degradation though the SCF ubiquitin ligase (E3) complex.

Coronin 7 antibody was raised against an 17 amino acid synthetic peptide near the carboxy terminus of human Coronin 7. The immunogen is located within the last 50 amino acids of Coronin 7.

F-actin regulator involved in anterograde Golgi to endosome transport: upon ubiquitination via 'Lys-33'-linked ubiquitin chains by the BCR (KLHL20) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, interacts with EPS15 and localizes to the trans-Golgi network, where it promotes actin polymerization, thereby facilitating post- Golgi trafficking. May play a role in the maintenance of the Golgi apparatus morphology.

Coronin 7 antibody can be stored at 4°C for three months and -20°C, stable for up to one year. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
