Anti-Transmembrane protein 192 TMEM192 Antibody

TMEM192 is a widely expressed, four transmembrane protein that localizes to late endosomal/lysosomal membranes. This localization is mediated by two dileucine motifs present at the amino-terminus of TMEM192. A cysteine residue near the carboxy residue is responsible for disulfide bond formation in TMEM192 homodimers. Little is known about the function of this protein.

At least two isoforms of TMEM192 are known to exist; this antibody will recognize both. TMEM192 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with other TMEM proteins.

TMEM192 antibody was raised against a 17 amino acid synthetic peptide near the carboxy terminus of human TMEM192. The immunogen is located within amino acids 180 - 230 of TMEM192.

TMEM192 antibody can be stored at 4°C for three months and -20°C, stable for up to one year. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
