Anti-LYR motif-containing protein 2 LYRM2 Antibody

The Lyr motif found in the LYR-motif containing protein family is similar to that found in the sacchromyces cerevisiae protein ISD11, an iron-sulfur protein in the mitochondria that is thought to play a role in iron homeostasis. No known function has been assigned to LYRM2, although LYRM1 is thought to be involved in preadipocyte progression and LYRM3 has been suggested to be a candidate gene for the branchio-oto-renal (BOR) syndrome.

LYRM2 antibody was raised against a 16 amino acid synthetic peptide near the carboxy terminus of human LYRM2. The immunogen is located within the last 50 amino acids of LYRM2.

LYRM2 antibody can be stored at 4°C for three months and -20°C, stable for up to one year. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
