Aclerastide
Aclerastide is an angiotensin receptor agonist shown to reduce fibrosis and scarring in wound healing models, with enhanced effects upon prolonged post-injury administration. Its action is mediated via the AT receptor, as evidenced by blockade with the antagonist d-Ala7-angiotensin (1-7) . This peptide is a research tool for studying fibrotic pathways in vivo and in vitro.
