Z-FR-AMC is a fluorogenic peptide substrate for serine proteases such as cathepsins, kallikrein, and plasmin. Upon enzymatic cleavage, it releases highly fluorescent AMC, enabling sensitive protease activity assays in both in vitro and cell-based research applications.
