C-Type Natriuretic Peptide (1-53), human

Originally discovered in porcine brain, CNP is a natriuretic peptide existing as CNP-22 and CNP-53. It shares structural and functional homology with ANP and BNP, primarily acting through the NPR-B receptor. This peptide is a key research tool for studying cardiovascular physiology, bone growth, and endothelial function in both in vitro and in vivo models.
