GIP, human TFA
GIP (human TFA) is a 42-amino acid incretin hormone secreted from intestinal K-cells postprandially. It primarily stimulates insulin secretion in a glucose-dependent manner and mildly inhibits gastric acid secretion. This peptide is a key research tool for studying metabolic disorders, diabetes, and gastrointestinal physiology in both in vitro and in vivo models.
