Ac-RYYRIK-NH2 TFA is a potent partial agonist and endogenous ligand of the ORL1 receptor, with a Kd of 1.5 nM in CHO cells. It also acts as a specific antagonist, competitively inhibiting nociceptin-stimulated [35S]GTPγS binding in rat brain preparations, making it a valuable tool for studying nociceptin signaling in vitro.
