CTTHWGFTLC (CYCLIC TFA) is a cyclic peptide inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinases MMP-2 and MMP-9, exhibiting an IC50 of ~8 μM for MMP-9. It is used in vitro and in vivo for researching cancer metastasis, angiogenesis, and other pathologies involving extracellular matrix remodeling.
