Humanin
Humanin is a 24-residue mitochondrial peptide that inhibits Bax-mediated apoptosis, offering neuroprotection in Alzheimer's models and improving insulin sensitivity. Its more stable analogue, HNG, is widely used in both in vitro and in vivo aging and neurodegeneration research.
