KGDS (Lys-Gly-Asp-Ser) is a synthetic peptide antagonist that selectively binds to the activated GPIIb/IIIa integrin on platelets. It is widely used in cardiovascular and thrombosis research to study platelet aggregation and adhesion in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
