Prolylserine is a dipeptide that inhibits melanogenesis in Mel-Ab cells. It suppresses MITF and tyrosinase expression while activating ERK phosphorylation, without influencing CREB activity. This makes it a useful research tool for studying skin pigmentation mechanisms in vitro.
