F9170 is an antiviral peptide derived from HIV-1 gp41 (aa 789-803) that targets the LLP1 domain. It inhibits HIV-1 IIIB infection in MT-2 cells (EC50: 0.19 μM) and reduces viral load in SHIV-infected rhesus macaques at 3 mg/kg, supporting its study in HIV pathogenesis and antiviral development.
