EPI-X4 TFA
EPI-X4 is a human serum albumin-derived peptide antagonist of CXCR4. It inhibits CXCL12-induced calcium flux, receptor internalization, and cell migration in vitro, and reduces inflammatory cell infiltration in a mouse model of airway hypereosinophilia. Elevated urinary EPI-X4 in chronic kidney disease patients also suggests its potential as a biomarker.
