SWELYYPLRANL-NH2 TFA is a dual E- and N-cadherin antagonist, inhibiting phage binding to cadherin/Fc chimeras with IC50 values of 0.7 μM and 0.09 μM, respectively. It disrupts cadherin-mediated cell-cell adhesion and is used in research to enhance epithelial and endothelial barrier permeability for improved drug delivery in vitro and in vivo.
