Glycylglycylcysteine is a potent, peptide-based inhibitor of TAFI (Thrombin Activatable Fibrinolysis Inhibitor) with a Ki of 0.99 μM. It is used in biochemical assays to study fibrinolysis and has been investigated in vitro and in vivo within thrombosis and hemostasis research.
