Culture system: Solid medium. Preparation: Organisms are washed, disrupted and subjected to an extraction process. The antigen consists of cytoplasmic and cell wall components, presented in alkaline pH glycine buffer. Inactivation: This product has been inactivated by disruption. Confirmed inactive by attempted growth under original culture conditions. Since no procedure can guarantee absolute sterility, the reagent should be handled with appropriate safety precautions.
