Parainfluenza Virus Type 2 Antigen

Culture system: Vero cell culture. Preparation: Infected cell culture supernatant is treated to remove cellular material, further purified by size exclusion chro-matography and concentrated. The antigen is presented in Tris/NaCl buffer at pH 7.4. Inactivation: This product has been treated with Beta-propiolactone. Confirmed inactive by attempted growth under original culture conditions. Since no procedure can guarantee absolute sterility, the reagent should be handled with appropriate safety precautions.
