Campylobacter jejuni Antigen

Culture system: Blood agar. Preparation: Partially purified detergent extract of the membrane fraction. The antigen is presented in water. The main component is an outer membrane protein with approximately 45 kDa in SDS-PAGE. Inactivation: This product has been inactivated by disruption and detergent treatment. Confirmed inactive by attempted growth under original culture conditions. Since no procedure can guarantee absolute sterility, the reagent should be handled with appropriate safety precautions.
