Tat-NR2B9c (NA-1) is a neuroprotective PSD-95 inhibitor that disrupts the PSD-95/NMDA receptor interaction. This action inhibits downstream NADPH oxidase activation and superoxide production, offering a mechanism to reduce neuronal injury in models of stroke and epilepsy, as evidenced in both in vitro and in vivo studies.
