Big Endothelin-1 (1-39), porcine
Big endothelins are the 53-90 (human) and 53-91 (porcine) precursor fragments of mature ET-1 (CAS 121014-54-8) . While exhibiting reduced vasoconstrictor activity in vitro compared to ET-1, they demonstrate similar pressor effects in vivo, making them useful for cardiovascular research involving endothelin processing and function.
