PAR2 (1-6) is a synthetic agonist peptide for proteinase-activated receptor 2, corresponding to the tethered ligand sequence in rodents. It induces nitric oxide-mediated vasodilation in rat arteries, inhibits keratinocyte proliferation in vitro, and reduces LPS-induced pulmonary neutrophil influx and MMP-2 activity in murine models.
