Feglymycin
Feglymycin is a 13-residue peptide antibiotic from Streptomyces with dual antibacterial and antiviral properties. It inhibits HIV-1 entry by targeting gp120 and also blocks bacterial cell wall synthesis by noncompetitively inhibiting MurA and MurC enzymes, making it relevant for infectious disease research.
