Bacterial Sortase Substrate III, Abz/DNP

Sortase A (SrtA) is a bacterial enzyme that covalently attaches virulence factors to the cell wall by cleaving the LPXTG motif. This fluorogenic substrate, Abz-LPETG-Dap (DNP) -NH2, enables real-time kinetic analysis of SrtA activity, facilitating high-throughput screening for anti-infective agents in both in vitro and cell-based assays.
