Galanin (1-30), human, is a 30-amino acid endogenous neuropeptide and potent agonist for GalR1 and GalR2 receptors (Ki = 1 nM) . It is widely used in neuroscience and endocrinology research to study its roles in modulating neurotransmitter release, hormone secretion, and smooth muscle function in both in vitro and in vivo models.
