Apamin
Apamin is a highly basic, 18-amino acid neurotoxin from bee venom that selectively inhibits SK-type Ca2+-activated potassium channels. It is widely used as a research tool in neuroscience and pharmacology for studying channel function and has demonstrated anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic properties in experimental models.
