CEF4 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues 342-351 of the influenza A virus nucleocapsid protein. It is widely used as an immunodominant epitope in immunological research, facilitating studies of T-cell responses in both in vitro assays and in vivo mouse models of influenza infection.
