Osteogenic Growth Peptide (OGP) is a 14-amino acid endogenous peptide present in serum at micromolar levels, crucial for the systemic bone-forming response following marrow injury. It is widely used in vitro to stimulate osteoblast proliferation and differentiation, and in vivo to study bone repair and systemic osteogenesis models.
