Xenin
Xenin is a 25-amino acid peptide originally isolated from human gastric mucosa as the mammalian analog of the amphibian peptide xenopsin. It is utilized in research to study its roles in gastrointestinal motility, insulin secretion, and metabolic regulation in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
