CTOP
This small molecule is a potent and selective μ-opioid receptor antagonist (Ki μ=0.96 nM, δ>10,000 nM) . Upon central administration in vivo, it induces behavioral effects. In vitro, it also enhances potassium currents in rat locus coeruleus neurons through a mechanism independent of the μ receptor.
