TAT-Gap19

This cell-permeable peptide is a selective blocker of Cx43 hemichannels (IC50 ~7 μM) with minimal activity on gap junctions or Panx1. Its TAT motif enhances cellular uptake and in vivo efficacy, including in the brain. It is a valuable research tool for studying connexin signaling in neuroinflammation, ischemia, and cardiac models.
