This small molecule is a highly potent and selective integrin α1β1 inhibitor (IC50 = 0.8 nM), blocking its binding to collagen IV. It demonstrates anti-angiogenic activity in vitro and exhibits significant antitumor efficacy in vivo, inhibiting growth in models of Lewis lung carcinoma and human melanoma.
