(Rac) -PAT-494 is a type II autotaxin inhibitor with the activity of inhibiting the production of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) in the blood. (Rac) -PAT-494 can participate in the inhibition of diseases related to cancer, fibrosis and inflammation by antagonizing the function of autotaxin. (Rac) -PAT-494 shows high activity in biochemical and plasma tests. (Rac) -PAT-494 can reduce plasma LPA levels after oral administration to rats[1].
