Source
Escherichia Coli
Field of Research
Stem Cell & Developmental Biology
Purity
Greater than 95.0% as determined by: (a) Analysis by HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Bioactivity
The ED50 as determined by its ability to inhibit BMP-2-induced activity in murine MC3T3- E1 cells.
Form
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized BMP3 in sterile 4mM HCl not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Storage Conditions
Stability: Lyophilized BMP3 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution BMP-3 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) . Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles
Notes
For research use only.
Applications Notes
Cytokines And Growth Factors
Preservative
BMP-3 protein was lyophilized from a 0.2μm filtered concentrated solution in 30% Acetonitrile and 0.1% TFA.
