Human GCP-2 Protein
Recombinant of human GCP-2 protein
Product Specifications
Product Name Alternative
C-X-C motif chemokine 6, Chemokine alpha 3, CKA-3, Granulocyte chemotactic protein 2, GCP-2, Small-inducible cytokine B6.
Source
Escherichia Coli
Purity
Greater than 98.0% as determined by: (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Bioactivity
Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human neutrophils is in a concentration range of 10-50 ng/ml corresponding to a specific activity of 20,000-100,000 IU/mg.
Form
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized GCP-2 in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Storage Conditions
Stability: Lyophilized GCP-2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution GCP-2 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) . Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles
Notes
For research use only.
Applications Notes
Chemokines
Preservative
GCP-2 protein was lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered concentrated solution in PBS, pH 7.4.
