G-Protein antagonist peptide acetate
G-Protein antagonist peptide acetate is a substance P-derived peptide that competitively inhibits G-protein coupling to specific receptors. It blocks Gi/Go activation by M2 mAChR and Gs activation by beta-adrenergic receptors in reconstituted systems, as measured by GTPase assays. This tool is used in vitro to study G-protein-mediated signaling pathways and receptor-effector interactions.
