TRV-120027 TFA is a β-arrestin-biased AT1R agonist that selectively inhibits angiotensin II-mediated G-protein signaling while promoting β-arrestin-1 recruitment. This action inhibits vasoconstriction, enhances cardiomyocyte contractility, and triggers catecholamine secretion via a macromolecular AT1R–β-arrestin-1–TRPC3–PLCγ complex. It is a valuable research tool for studying biased GPCR signaling in cardiovascular physiology and disease models.
