(5S,6R) -DiHETE is an enantiomer of (5,6) -DiHETEs. (5S,6R) -DiHETE can be recognized by leukotriene receptors (LTD4 receptors) . (5S,6R) -DiHETE can induce guinea pig isolated ileum contraction with an EC50 of 1.3 μM, and this effect can be inhibited by LTD4 receptor antagonists[1].
