Secreted IL-2 Receptor alpha Recombinant Protein

Determined by its ability to increase the proliferation effect of IL-2 in murine CTLL-2 cells. In the presence of 1 ng/ml of recombinant IL-2, the expected ED50 for this effect is between 0.5 - 1.5 ug/ml.

The lyophilized Secreted IL-2 Receptor alpha recombinant protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20°C. Reconstituted Secreted IL-2 Receptor alpha is stable for at least 3 months when stored in working aliquots with a carrier protein at -20°C. As with any protein, exposing Secreted IL-2 Receptor alpha recombinant protein to repeated freeze / thaw cycles is not recommended. When working with proteins care should be taken to keep recombinant protein at a cool and stable temperature.
