During prophase, it forms a heterotetrameric complex with MAD1L1 at unattached kinetochores, recruiting O-MAD2 and aiding transformation. MAD2L1 Protein, Human (His-SUMO) is the recombinant human-derived MAD2L1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-SUMO, N-6*His labeled tag.
