Recombinant Human Krebs Von den Lungen-6 (KL-6) protein is produced by Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Ala23-Gly167 is expressed with a His tag at the C-terminus. The KL-6 protein consisting of 183 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 20.13 kDa and migrates as an 18-35 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation.
