Culture system: Liquid culture. Preparation: Yersinia is grown in liquid culture and stimulated to secrete YOPs (Yersinia outer proteins) . YOP proteins concentrated from the culture medium are presented in phosphate buffered saline. Inactivation: This product has been inactivated by sterile fil-tration. Confirmed inactive by attempted growth under original culture conditions. Since no procedure can guarantee absolute sterility, the reagent should be handled with appropriate safety precautions.
