Elafin/Trappin-2, Human (HEK293, His)

Elafin/Trappin-2, a skin-specific inhibitor of neutrophil and pancreatic elastase, safeguards tissues against elastase-mediated proteolysis. Its inhibitory range extends to the alpha-4-beta-2/CHRNA2-CHRNB2 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor. Elafin/Trappin-2 also weakly inhibits Kv11.1/KCNH2/ERG1 and transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 1 (TRPV1), as reported in studies.
