Pseudoisocyanine iodide (1,1'-Diethyl-2,2'-cyanine iodide) is an inhibitor of organic cation transporters (OCT1, OCT2, OCT3) and plasma membrane monoamine transporter (PMAT) . Pseudoisocyanine iodide has antidepressant activity[1][2].
