LBP proteins play a central role in the innate immune response by directly binding to the lipid A moiety of bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) . This interaction enhances CD14 affinity, promotes its binding to LPS, and promotes cytokine release in response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide. LBP Protein, Human (I465F, HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived LBP protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-10*His labeled tag and I465F mutation.
