Anti-CD4 Antibody (TRX1) is a humanized, non-depleting monoclonal antibody targeting the CD4 receptor. The compound specifically binds to CD4 on T helper cells, inducing receptor down-modulation and T-cell anergy to establish immune tolerance without causing significant depletion of CD4+ T cells. It is utilized in clinical and experimental research for tolerance induction in autoimmune diseases and as an HIV entry inhibitor.
