LGR5 Antibody (loop2)
Rabbit polyclonal antibody to LGR5 (Leucine-rich repeat G protein-coupled receptor 5) is thought of as a possible stem cell marker for the hair follicle and the epithelium of the intestine. LGR5 is only expressed in cycling crypt base columnar cells, which are thought to be genuine intestinal stem cells. LGR5 has also been implicated as a negative regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway. LGR5 is often up-regulated in certain cancers and may play a role in cancer cell progression.
