SAR228810 is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody inhibitor targeting amyloid beta (Aβ), with a dissociation constant (KD) of 0.43 nM for fibrillar Aβ, which is higher than for monomeric Aβ. It significantly hinders brain amyloid plaque formation, oligomer-induced synaptic dysfunction, and neuronal loss. Furthermore, SAR228810 offers substantial protection against Aβ-mediated neurotoxicity. MINT1526A is applicable in Alzheimer's disease imaging and immunotherapy research.
